Our Roots & Lineage

Samhita was birthed from a deep reverence for sacred knowledge, produced by a collective of avadhutas belonging to the Gauda Krama of Shrividya, under the spiritual guidance and inspiration of Avadhuta Divyanandanatha and Adityanandanatha.

While our foundations are anchored in this sacred esoteric tradition, our vision extends outward to illuminate the broader, living expanse of Sanatana Dharma for a contemporary global audience.

What We Do: Unveiling Indic Wisdom

At its core, Samhita serves as a dynamic bridge between traditional Dharmika wisdom and modern readers. We begin our journey primarily through digital media—delivering nuanced, accessible, and deeply researched content through essays, long-form articles, and commentary.

Our work revolves around three primary pillars:

• Popularizing Indic Studies: Exploring Indian philosophy, history, aesthetics, and social traditions through a contextual, authentic lens.
• Dharmika Sources & Spaces: Bringing clarity to sacred texts, pilgrimage sites, ritual traditions, and the cultural sanctuaries that sustain Hindu thought.
